The geopolitical headlines write themselves: provocation, deterrence, saturation. But I'm not a military analyst. When I read this news, I see something entirely different: a state actor deliberately generating geopolitical noise that hostile groups can harvest for cover.
Washington is distracted. Markets barely move. Volatility is suppressed. And somewhere inside that fog, the lead quietly move across the chain.
