For those who don’t know who Jeff “Duke” Roufus is, he is a well renown Muay Thai coach in north America and outside of Thailand. He has trained: Pat Barry, Alan Belcher, Stephan Bonnar,Matt Mitrione, Anthony Pettis, Jens Pulver and Ben Rothwell.

Through out his kickboxing career, he has fought a total of 45 fights and has won 36 of those fights. Twenty six of which came by way of knockout. He has also won 8 titles.

There are 8 volumes that discuss techniques and strategies about Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts. This is a must have program if you are interested in Muay Thai, Kickboxing or the stand up aspect of mixed martial arts.

B.J Penn was looking have a rematch against Jon Fitch, however the fans didn’t support it. After a discussion between BJ Penn and Carlos Condit via Twitter, they both are interested in fighting each other. Currently in the welterweight rankings, BJ Penn is only one rank higher than Carlos Condit (Penn being six and Condit being seven). But nonetheless, this will be a exciting match to watch. Other fights on the card could include:

Georges St-Pierre vs Nick Diaz

and Hatsu Hioki vs George Roop.

Ben Askren calls Nate Marquardt a cheater and Hector Lombard agrees. They both are looking forward to a fight with Marquardt if he decides to sign with Bellator. When Marquardt signs with Bellator, he’ll get a title shot either in the welterweight division to face Ben Askren, or the middleweight division to face Hector Lombard. Who ever he fights, it’ll be a good show.

Scott Coker supports Dan Henderson’s goal, however he too would like to see Dan face off with a few light heavyweights in the Strikeforce division before a clash with the UFC light heavyweight Champion.

After a knockout victory over Shane Roller, Melvin Guillard is looking for more. He says that he’s the best fighter in the light weight division. Melvin Guillard has great stand up and with his joining with Greg Jackson’s team, he’ll be much more well rounded.

Melvin calls out Joe Lauzon because there isn’t really anyone else in the light weight division right now he can fight.

After Nate Marquardt was cut by the UFC; Bellator’s CEO became interested in signing Nate Marquardt. However, they are waiting for a ruling from the Pennsylvania Athletic Commission. If Marquardt does get into Bellator, he’d be a tough opponent for anyone.

On September 17, 2011, Jake Shields will go head to head with Jake Ellenberger. Jake Ellenberger is currently on a four fight win streak with the UFC and is looking to earn a spot in the top ten welterweight fighters beating Jake Shields. Jake Shields, who had a 15 fight win streak pre UFC, lost to George St-Pierre.

Former WEC Bantamweight champion, Miguel Torres wants to beat Urijah Faber for bragging rights. Torres believes that this is a good match up because both of them lost their last fight. He also believes that this is the fight fans wanted back then, so why not have it now.
